I remember years ago my first listen of Grace was lying on the bed listening with headphones. I was about halfway through the last track Dream Brother and the haunting guitar melody and his amazing voice caused such a strong visceral reaction that tears were forming in my eyes. When it ended I just lay there unable to move for a few minutes. I still get that piercing sadness even now when I listen to it.

Jeff et all, you did your best "it wasn't much". Now tell the truth... Don't fool yourselves anymore..."Raise your fists"! Bow down to Leonard Cohen on the other side! And say--Hallelujah!!

Brilliant and beautiful mind that God gave Buckley. You can sense the mysticism. I believe that to be God’s influence. I don’t usually turn things into deism but considering the mystery of Buckley’s death I can’t help but wonder maybe God just needed him more in Heaven. It’s a great album. Matthew Bellamy would agree. If you want to know why he inspired so many artists like Bellamy then buy this album. 10/10.

This is one of those albums you choose when you’re in one of those “you’re deserted on an island” scenarios. Just an amazing talent and one that had no clue he would be as much of an influence as he would become. Just sad that he never knew how great he would become to the music world.
