I never write reviews, but I have to for this. ASD is one of the few albums I can listen to, and then come back to later and still find new depth. One of my favorite albums ever.

This honestly sounds like the band i fell in love with when i went to warped tour back in 2009

Ok, so there are certain aspects of this that I really love to death. It can be melodic with the awesome guitar riffs. But what really throws me off is it becomes super poppy at times. I really loved the pop punk vibe of identity on fire, I'm hoping they can find a middle ground. But if they love it then so be it, I truly admire this band and all they've helped me with.

The singer has a killer voice, cut out the corny screams and I'd like this band sooooo much more.
  • Amazing. Slayed it.

Best album they've made. A real homerun. Totally obsessed.
  • The Metal/Punk sound makes this album

This evolved metal/punk sound that they have adopted is what makes this album as good as it is. Is it a superb album? kind of. There is a lot to love on this album, but at times the lyrics seem a little cheesy. Overall i love the album so I recommend you pick it up.
  • Much Better Yet Similar To Rise.

Like another reviewer said, I was really stoked after hearing Bring Me A War and especially Falling Apart in a Crowded Room. Falling Apart in a Crowded Room is easily the best song ASD has put out in the past few years. It has the strong elements that Wires, Adelphia, and Identity had. I really enjoyed the first half of the album. It reminded me of the old and unique ASD. The second half seemed to have more of the Rise elements though. More poppy and generic. Just your typical post-hardcore sound. Overall, it's a pretty sweet album. The first half gets a 5/5.

When I heard 'Bring Me A War' and 'Falling Apart' I was so stoked and excited, and then I listened to the rest of the album. It's not a bad album. I like it, but it doesn't sound like them. You only know it's them because of Jag's voice. The lyrics all sound the same and the music has more of a pop sound than anything else. After all is said and done though, A Skylit Drive is still one of my favorite bands!!
  • Best since Wires.

I'm above and beyond impressed with this record. I'm into just about every track. The formula they use reminds me a bit of old A Skylit Drive and a very post-hardcore sound I just haven't heard since metalcore blew up a few years back. This is my favorite album this year which is saying a ton with solid releases from Miss May I, blessthefall, and numerous others. Preview the songs, if you like what you hear, you will not be disappointed. Great record.
