Ryan's voice is great: his range is good and he displays a lot of emotion in the song. The lyrics are representative of country music in its purest form. This song is telling a story worth listening to. It's really an interesting combination of instruments to vocals. The build up is great and at points it really does sound like the rain. At points though I think there might be a little too much going on in the production, but it gives a taste of a new style. A style that could revolutionize country music in a good way.

Music is in a weird place right now. it almost feels like there aren't as many artists creating anymore. However, the way Ryan sings and the lyrics he writes are different and in a way reminiscent of what country music used to be. There is something unique about him though that may be exactly what the future of country music holds and I'm excited for that and what he does next!
