  • Zie Zie won't dance, but I certainly will!

Peter Brown is a musical genius and it shows throughout this entire album! The music here is a direct reflection of ‘84 with a double dose of that good ol' swift drum/synth treatment; the only type of ‘80s music that will do, in my opinion! Now, if I were to really break it down and explain every track in depth I think this review would turn into an essay. So, with that said, I'll just rave about my absolute favorite track: “Zie Zie Won't Dance!” For starters, it's addicting, and its spine-breakin' beat makes me feel like a flashy Solid Gold dancer when I bust a move, which is quite often! And you know something?—I'm not the least bit ashamed to admit it! Seriously, I dare ANYONE to challenge me in a dance-off to this song! I guarantee you wouldn't make it past the first few minutes of the beginning section without forfeiting lol! It's times like this when you're awfully thankful for wireless headphones, mega bass, and the repeat button because all three are a must as you move around and go about your day, all while listening to the “Snap” album! One fact that bears repeating is the sound of this particular piece. Starting with the heart-pounding vibrations of the drums, Peter incorporates a fair share of BANG, and more than enough BOOM to energize your soul! And if the drums don't get you, then the synth surly will! Speaking of which, I can't even begin to explain the level of hysteria that hits me each time I hear the flutter of the glowing synth! It truly glitters! You'd think that after listening to this track on repeat that I'd somehow grow tired of its elements—NEVER! This song never gets old! And see, that's simply a testament to the genius of Mr. Brown! Ok, let me stop gushing lol. I'm totally in love with “Snap!” End of story!
  • This is NOT his first album as a review on here states.

His first album came out in '78 and is titled "Fantasy Love Affair". This album was released in '84. I'm a big fan of early 80's dance music. This album as well as his '83 release, Back To Front are amazing!!! Heavy use of synthesizers.
  • Finally on iTunes!
