Of all The Cult albums this is the one. A true masterpiece. Song after song nothing goes to waste here.Every track is a jewel. It’s a rocker. Deep Dark Beautiful and Wild. It’s a mood. It’s a feeling. It’s a moment in time. It’s a revolution. Turn down the lights and fire up some candles. A sonic journey awaits.

LOVE was the correct title for this album. It’s always been my top choice for The Cult . This was the most alternative sounding album for them. Every track is great especially REVOLUTION & BIG NEON GLITTER. This album is forever unforgettable and unmatched.

Formerly the Southern Death Cult, The Cult rebranded their sound from Goth to hard rock with this album and got us into the dance floor at the Kennel Club in Philadelphia. Ian Astbury’s snarling demeanor and love of glam rock straddles The Doors, Led Zeppelin and The NY Dolls, making this record a seminal standout in 80s alternative.

This album might not have gotten as much air play as "Electric", but it is still one of their best, in my humble opinion. One of my favorite rock/alternative bands and albums to come out of the 80s. Key tracks: Every track

Hands down their best work. First heard/saw them on SNL when this album first came out and have been a die hard fan since. Every track is better than the one before it.
