This audiobook is every radio files dream. It tells the inside story of what happened when hot talk radio died and it's also a lesson about never losing yourself. Even if other people say you're no longer of any use to this particular company that you've been nothing but loyal to for your entire career, that assessment does not measure your level of self worth. Also in the story only ends if you allowed to. This audiobook has been a true inspiration and enjoy to listen to. I want to thank everyone involved with the book and the audiobook for being so open and so honest about the not so pretty parts of your particular journey.

To the TMOS crew: Absolutely amazing guys! I laughed...I cried...I kissed $6.99 goodbye (with pleasure of course)! This audio book answered questions I've had for many many years and it's done in such a brilliant, entertaining and fun way. Listening to Don & Mike back in the day was a major major obsession of mine dating back to the WAVA days and I was greatly saddened when it and TMOS went off the airwaves for good, or at least I thought. I was excited to discover the podcast about a year or so ago and the obsession is growing again...first with my purchase of the bonus package and now this audio book. Keep it coming guys because 6 hours a week and an audio book just isn't enough! :) To TMOS fans: Buy the audio book now...you won't be disappointed! As a listener from the D&M days and Bonus Show subscriber since its inception, I can say that this is a must for TMOS fans. But if you love reading about how the little guys beat the mega-corporation . . . it is a must-read, too. Congrats to the boys who took the leap into Podcasting and made it work! A fun and easy read!

I have listened to Don and Mike for years. Continued to listen to The Mike O'Meara Show podcast and the Bonus Show. I just listened to this book today in one long session because I just couldn't stop. As a longtime fan of the show, it has always afelt amazing feeling such a connection with these radio personalities having been let into their lives by listening each and everyday. What an interesting and fulfilling situation to be in. I feel like I'm part of a some kind of secret or an elite group. This book is the ultimate way to let us the fans behind the curtain. Knowing all of the background makes me feel more involved and makes me even more excited to listen and be a part of this. Great job on this book. Very entertaining. Thanks guys. F Pony.

Interesting and emotional journey of men who had to reinvent their medium to still perform what they do best.

Great listen that I'd recommend to any fan of the show. I listened to Don and Mike back in the day and this was a great way to catch back up with how lives and careers have continued during the time I missed.
