    Andy Partridge's Fuzzy Warbles series is in many ways a mirror reflection of his work with XTC. In fact Vol 4 contains demo style versions of XTC songs(see Helicopter and Season Cycle). That being stated, the FW series reveals in many instances a looser, more humorous, and more experimental side to Mr. Partridge. We hear the studio pop craftsman at work, much more content to noodle away on home recordings than deal with the demons of taking a band out on tour. On this and all of the Fuzzy Warbles installments, we hear the real Andy Partridge.
