    I was hoping to hear more afro-cuban pieces, or at least more latin-tinged music on these sets. Oh well. This is a great band, but at times, the compositions lose their sizzle, and some of the arrangements are too Ellingtonesque. That's Wynton for you.

    Wow, this recording is nothing short of incredible !!! This music both motivates and inspires, but most of all it swings !! Wynton and his band were in top form, while the crowd was electric with enthusiasm. This is all packaged in these wonderful arrangements. Wynton truly shines as an ambassador of America's original art form !!
