    Alannah Myles has a gorgeous voice and she shows off her range on this album, moving from a clear, pure sound on the folksy ballads to a gritty wail on the more hard driving songs like "Trouble with Crickets." The musicians backing her up are great too. The album is eclectic, with a mixture of blues, pop, and folk, and what sounds like a little techno thrown in.
