    This is a definitely an alternate sounding Stoney from his early Red Dirt days, and that's mainly a disappointment just because so many of us liked the energy he used to bring. The new album is still solid and worth a shot to listen to. It doesn't really sound like traditional Red Dirt, but I wouldn't agree that it sounds Nashville either. I definitely enjoy the album more than most people would. I'd say it does grow on you.
